Free Press Summer Festival (FPSF) is an annual music and arts festival held in Houston, Texas.
June 6 & 7, 2015, Saturday 11am-11pm, Sunday 11am-10pm. The festival will take place rain or shine, unless otherwise posted. FPSF is for all ages. Re-entry allowed until 5:00 PM as long as your wristband has been scanned on your way out.

PARKING. Eleanor Tinsley Park will charge $12 to park starting at 9am. Park in the Green or Red Lots. The Metro Light Rail runs directly to the festival site as well. As always, we encourage attendees to get to and from the festival as safely as possible. Take the Metro, or find a designated driver. Here is quick list of taxi suggestions we found.
RIDE THE RAIL. The Main Street Metro Rail on will pick you up and drop you off at Eleanor Tinsley Park and it’s only $1.25 each way! The rail runs every 12 minutes each day and is ADA accessible. From Downtown Houston, take the Southbound Redline Metro Rail route to Eleanor Tinsley Park.

Saturday: Southbound, rail runs until 2:45am. Northbound, rail runs until 1am
Sunday: Southbound, rail runs until 11:25pm. Northbound, rail runs until 12:29am
There are several hotels we recommend for FPSF attendees just a short walk away from the fest grounds.

Personal cameras are allowed, and the rule prohibiting detachable lenses has been lifted this year so bring them at your own risk. The promoters reserve the right to use photographs taken at the event in promotional materials.
EMPTY WATER CONTAINER
You may bring one to fill at the fest, such as a CamelBak.
TOWEL OR BLANKET
For sitting. Chairs will be allowed in a restricted area. Low-level beach/lawn chairs (not exceeding 8 inches from the ground to the bottom of the seat and no higher than 27 inches total from the ground to the top of the chair) are OK
CASH (SMALL BILLS) AND CREDIT CARDS.
Cash will be accepted for food, drinks, and memorabilia, and in some locations credit cards will be accepted as well. There is no need to purchase food/drink tickets first. ATMs will be available throughout the fest grounds as well.
NO WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID OR FOOD IS ADMITTED
There will be plenty of water available for free and for sale. Empty camel packs or reusable non-glass water thermoses are allowed and can be filled once in the fest, but must be proved empty upon entrance. Again, no outside food or drinks, including no water or water bottles, sealed or unsealed.
NO PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, OR AUDIO RECORDING EQUIPMENT.
Detachable lenses are okay. Images taken at the festival may be used for festival promotional purposes.
NO UNAUTHORIZED VENDING, SALES, SOLICITATIONS, OR PROMOTIONS. If you are interested in any of these things please contact us.
Our first aid team and medics are volunteers, employees and/or sponsors of the festival and are on site to assist you, not arrest you. Refusal of medical attention, especially in the houston heat and humidity, can be fatal.
Please make note of the various first aid stations which are staffed by volunteer medics. If you or a friend need medical assistance and are unable to locate or safely walk to a first aid station, raise your hand and ask someone to locate the nearest staff member or volunteer. Everyone is trained to help you promptly find help.
Houston is hot and humid during the summer and while everyone should do their best to have a great time, you should also take precautions to prevent heat related illnesses and keep an eye out for others who might be experiencing heat exhaustion or heat stroke. We have a large medical team and first aid stations throughout the festival. Should you or someone else need medical attention, just ask the nearest person to you to find any of our staff members who can assist you. Prevent heat exhaustion and heatstroke by wearing light colored, loose fitting clothes; drink plenty of water- if you’re not peeing every few hours, you might be dehydrated; wear sunscreen and a hat; take a break in the shade if you feel like the heat is getting to you.
ADA drop off zone is at Lantern Point and Murworth, right next to the entrance. There will plenty of ADA accessible parking on-site. The main entrance is accessible. Should a line form, you may proceed to the front and ask a gate manager to help expedite your entry.
In order to access the ADA viewing area, we will be issuing ADA wristbands to those that require it at the Box Office. The ADA wristband does not gain the attendee access to the park if it isn't accompanied by another wristband.
