Each year, Free Press Summer Festival showcases hundreds of local and national acts to thousands of music lovers. Past performers include: Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg, The Flaming Lips, Erykah Badu, The Avett Brothers, Primus -- an ever expanding genre of new and old favorites. Local bands are selected by FPSF based on their hustle, talent, and love for their fans. The lineup is hand-selected, so no band submissions are being accepted at this time.

FPSF is more than a music festival-- with Eleanor Tinsley Park and Allen Parkway as their canvases, it's a chance for Houston and area artists to feature works before tens of thousands of fest goers.

A successful installation creates an ambiance and enhances people's experience in the festival grounds. It should be large enough to make an impact and built to withstand the weather and thousands of attendees. For more info and to submit your idea, click here.
